BIOTORAH

The more one peels back the layers of complexity that create this world the more one is awe inspired by its technology and design. Through interactive presentations both live and online, as well as through my teaching as an educator, my passion is to inspire others to feel awe and pleasure when appreciating this amazing world.
I, further, have had great success at helping people expand past their phobias of natural phenomenon and trust themselves for future experiences.

ABOUT ME

David Engel has had a love of animals since he was a child growing up exploring the forests of Sydney Australia.  After spending 10 years learning in Yeshiva, as well as training as a zoologist and an educator, he decided to unite his two loves; animals and Torah sharing these wisdoms with the world.

Having worked as a science teacher for many years, wilderness director for Jewish camps, counsellor and animal educator for various organizations in Australia. David will share an experience that reveals the wisdom, living technology and uniqueness found within each creature in an inspirational, relatable and enjoyable way.

For anyone or any group who is looking for something fun, educational, interactive and different to do, this is for you!

biotorah Tours

We've all had that moment when we see a sunset, reach the top of a mountain or see animals in the wild. The breathtaking beauty, the magnitude, the delight in the wonder of the world and sheer awe at the complexity of it's design.

The more one looks into the world around us, the clearer it becomes that there is a designer, an architect, a Creator who is wise beyond our understanding.

BioTorah is a tour of nature through this lens. Based on our Jewish heritage and Torah sources, Biotorah Tours will reveal the wisdom hidden in the world of animals. The interactive experience at your shul, school or a zoo tour will focus on how we can be inspired by the vast amounts of wonders found in the creation. We will see the design of animals and how they teach us about differing areas such as leadership, character traits and technology.

What leadership principles do we learn from the eagle? What character traits do we learn from monkeys? What technology mechanisms were learned from animal behavior? It turns out there is no new technology principle in the world that wasn't mimicked from the animal kingdom on some level!

Lets open the door and experience this reality.
